1. Installation

1.1. PC

Run the installation program supplied, set the installation path and wait for the files to be decompressed.

Then go to Activate your license

1.2. Meta Quest

To install the latest version of Mimbus Discover on your Meta Quest:

  1. Turn on your headset

  2. Go to the Mimbus Discover page in the App Lab.

  3. Log in using your account, and click on the "Install" button.

1.3. HTC Focus 3

To install the latest version of Mimbus Discover on your HTC Focus 3:

  1. Turn on your headset

  2. Go to Mimbus Discover page on the Vive Business AppStore meta.

  3. Log in using your account, and click on the "Get" button.

1.4. PICO 3 Pro / PICO 4

To install the latest version of Mimbus Discover on your PICO 3 Pro or PICO 4 Enterprise:

  1. Turn on your headset

  2. Go to Application Library → Business Store.

  3. Click on "All items" in the filters, and browse the list to find Mimbus Discover, or enter the application name in the search engine.

  4. Click on "Install

2. Activate your license

Requirements:

  • Application installed on your hardware (PC or stand-alone headset)

  • Email and password for your Vulcan organization’s administrator account, provided by your reseller

Launch your simulator. The simulator activation screen appears.

Using a web browser, log on to the Vulcan portal (https://open.vulcan-edu.com) and enter the email & password of your organization’s administrator account.

Navigate to Administration > Licenses, then click on the "Activate" button next to the desired license.

 If no license can be activated on this screen, or if the list is empty, please contact your reseller for further instructions.

Enter the four-digit code displayed on your simulator screen to permanently associate the license with your hardware.

On your simulator, click on the "Retry" button to use the application.
